"At that time you will say, 'I thank you, Lord! You were angry with me, but you
So much of what we incorrectly blame on God can be created from a wrong
attitude. ‘At that time’ indicates a specific moment in our life when we made the
definite decision to change our attitude. When the going gets tough we have a
choice: shake our fist at God in anger or be accepting of what we are experiencing
and respond, “I thank you, Lord”. Whatever we felt God was angry with us about
and was the cause of our discomfort can amazingly dissolve away and we can
see God in a totally different light. He then can be seen as the God of all comfort
that He is. Ecclesiastes 11:1 contains a request to act and a promise of a result. The only thing in question is the timing of the results. This is not for us to worry about. If we spent less time worrying about what does not involve us and more time doing what we are asked to do, we may see more impossible things happen. Consider this verse with Galatians 6:9, where we are encouraged to keep on doing our work without losing heart, even when we think God is not working quickly enough to give us the results we want.
Are you casting your bread on the waters? Look forward with anticipation to the results that will come! Just do not put time limits on God!
Prayer PointsMuch prayer is needed for accommodation for Camp 2008! Clayton Hinds, our Camp Program Coordinator, needs to travel to Livingstone again in the next two weeks to finalize accommodation for Camp 2008. Mosi-o-tunya Baptist Church cannot provide accommodation this year, as they are having a conference on during the same period of camp. Much prayer is needed to find a suitable replacement site that may be safe and appropriate. Please pray for wisdom and direction for Clayton as he makes arrangements for this program which has a positive impact on so many young lives each year. In Brief
Praise PointsOver the past few years, two supporters of EW have led a team of helpers to raise funds for income generating activities for EW. This has resulted in 200 fruit trees being planted, rearing chickens for meat (broilers) and chicken layers for eggs. This is tremendous for EW in lowering our food budget, while also creating an income. One of our older boys at the centre has now actually joined the EW staff and is learning how to manage both the chicken layers and broilers.

Daniel in AustraliaDaniel writes, The trip was awesome! I arrived safely and already I have had so much fun with Karen and Peter, my first host family in Australia. They are very beautiful people. I went to church and I’m resting today, getting ready for training on Monday morning (25th February). Please Pray for me that I may not just be here to see new lands or new things, but that I may see with new eyes and also that I narrow my focus in the midst of all the vastness that I’m exposed to in the next 7 weeks. Also pray that I will represent EW in a way that God would want me to and be sensitive to learn things that will benefit EW best. Please Pray for Sylvia Chimbala as she stands in as Head Teacher. Pray that she can lead the team with Godly wisdom.

NEW PRAISE AND PRAYER POINTSEagles Wings (Australia)
On the 29th December 2003, Eagles
Wings was registered as a Non
Governmental Organization (NGO) of
Zambia. It has only developed since
then due to individuals, churches and
other Australian based organizations
that have worked in partnership with
Eagles Wings for funding, sending
and prayer needs. Within Australia,
there has been a growing need and
call for Eagles Wings to be registered
as a Not-for-Profit with the sole
purpose of developing and funding
Eagles Wings Zambia’s programs and
projects. Hence, since the doors have
been opened to move in this direction,
we have begun the process to have
Eagles Wings (Australia) officially
recognized. Emmy
Emmy, our Adult Education teacher,
is leaving EW to be married in Lusaka
the capital city of Zambia, 400km from
Ndola.
