EW Update #3 Print E-mail
Hi Everyone!

Happy New Year to you all.

Thank you to those of you who have sent encouraging emails.  We're excited to be involved in a ministry on which God so obviously has His hand.

Following on from the new name for the project ("Eagles Wings"), we're very happy to announce the new website address - www.zambiankids.com.  Also note the new email addresses for Mark, Reid and requests for 'info', 'bookings' and 'music'. More to come!
Please join us in thanking God for all that He is doing through this ministry and please continue to be in prayer for all that is happening and decisions which need to be made.  In particular, on the Australian front, we covet your prayers as we will soon be arranging a meeting with Baptist World Aid Australia for discussions about the possibility of a partnership.  We really want to know God's will here.

We've just today received another update from Lackson in Zambia.  He refers to Mark, Reid and the building team's visit in March/April this year.  For those of you who don't yet know, the team plans to build 2 homes capable of accommodating 16 street children each and construct a water pump and 2 large water tanks.

Praise be to God as Zambia is part of the southern African region about which we are hearing so much on the news lately as experiencing severe drought and its people starving.  It's wonderful to hear directly from Lackson (see below) the great news that they are able to plant crops.

We hope that 2003 will be a year in which we all appreciate the incredible blessings our loving God continues to pour on us.
Blessings,
Eagles Wings Australian team

Message from Lackson, Zambia

Greetings from Zambia in Jesus name!

Thankyou very much for your support you are giving us here. Sorry for not writing to you, everybody is on holidays here.

We are all fine with the kids on holidays, and we are busy planting maize, beans, groundnuts and sweet potatoes.

Erica and her family are fine. Sila and the other lady are improving. We will send you some photos next week, so that you can see how the crops are growing at the farm.

We are ready for you to come, and we will be moving to the farm next week.

May God bless you all.
Yours,
Lackson
