"You will go out with joy and be led forth with peace" Isaiah 55:12Adele Returns Home This verse from Isaiah virtually sums it up for Adele. Having spent almost 12 months at the Eagles Wings farm, Adele is returning to her home in Brisbane, Australia this month in time for Christmas with her family. Adele shares a couple of experiences and thoughts:
?Arriving in Zambia in January 2004, I was greeted by Reid, Lackson,
eager children and friends. The Eagles Wings centre is situated some
12 kilometres from Ndola (Zambia) without access for vehicles or, at
that time, a telephone to hire a taxi! Due to the abundant rain, the
grass soon grew taller than myself making walking hazardous as we went
to the bus stop. We need to pass through two shanty compounds where
children constantly call out "MUSUNGU (European) ? HOW ARE YOU?!"God has blessed Eagles Wings with precious children and my greatest joy has been to see the transformation in their lives. God will continue to work with them as He does with all His children. Each child is firmly fixed in my heart and prayers. Praise Him. Thank you very much for your prayers and for being part of the Eagles Wings family." Adele. With Adele returning, Eagles Wings is seeking a self-supporting volunteer with administration/communication experience to fill her role for approximately 2 years. If you are interested, please pray and contact Reid for more information. It is not only Adele however who is taking to the skies ? Mark returned to Zambia in late October for a couple of months to, amongst other things, raise awareness of Eagles Wings ministry amongst Zambian Christians and record a CD with the children at the farm, the recording of which will primarily take place on 6 and 7 December. In addition, after their wedding on 4 December, Reid and Chantelle will head over to Zambia in mid‑December for a couple of months to further the plans for the building of the new school and fill the gap in the administration work until our Lord raises up a new administration/communication officer. Please pray:
