"See that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.” 1 John 2:24

As the journey of life takes us to new places and through many new experiences our mind can become crowded with many memories. Even though we grow and mature and have many new experiences and memories we should not allow them to replace the message we first heard or the Saviour we first came to know. We need to remember where we came from and who we have a relationship with so that we remain humble and continue to enjoy a close relationship with our Heavenly Father.

Land for Stage 3 and 4

After more than three years of trying, Eagles Wings finally has ownership over the land needed to construct Stages 3 and 4 of our community school which adjoins the existing school land. We praise God, as there has been so much effort placed into acquiring this land. Without it, we were at a loss as to how we could complete the Monkey Fountain Campus. It is a huge win for the families living in abject poverty within the surrounding communities.

Praise God

  • For His perfect timing and that hundreds of children will benefit from this purchase.

Zambian President

Preparations for the up coming presidential elections are going on very well. We praise God that, to date, the process has been peaceful. So far there are three prominent politicians who have started campaigning. Rephia Banda (the current vice president for the MMD party) Michael Sata (from the Patriotic Front party) and Hakainde Hichilema (from the UPND). A date for the elections has been set for the 27th of October.

Please Pray

  • For continued peace during this election period and that God would see the right man take the leadership of Zambia.

Clayton and Anna Hinds

Clayton and Anna have arrived safely home for a three to four month period. They will be kept busy during this time sharing the vision for the Camp Program and hopefully taking some time to refresh and prepare for the challenges ahead.

Please Pray

  • For their time in Australia. Pray that they will be encouraged and strengthened for the next steps.
Note: If you would like to have Clayton and Anna share at your church, small group or business about their vision to extend the Camp Program email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

New Teachers Needed

After the recent Zambian government canvassing for teachers, three of our teaching staff left Eagles Wings. Two were recently employed (Smart and Kennedy) and the third was Maureen, our longest serving teacher of four years. It is sad to see Maureen leave but we also wish her all the best for the future ahead. Maureen has been an excellent teacher and the students loved her because of the great care and respect she showed them. She has been completely committed to her role and will be a great blessing wherever she works.

Please Pray

  • For Daniel as he conducts further interviews for teaching staff. Pray that the right teachers with the right heart will be employed.
  • For strength and wisdom for Daniel as he leads the Education Program.
  • For Maureen, Smart and Kennedy as they complete their roles with Eagles Wings and move into new roles within the government schooling system.
